Baloot is a scorekeeper for the Baloot card game. It works without an account or sign-in, and the app itself collects no personal data.

Data stored only on your device

Round scores, team names, and settings (theme, numerals, knob colourway, target) are stored locally on your device only. They never leave the device and we cannot access them. Uninstalling the app deletes them permanently.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows a single optional rewarded ad (to preview a locked colourway) served by Google AdMob. When an ad is served, Google — as a third party — collects and shares the following, per its policies, for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention:

• Approximate location (derived from IP address)
• App and ad interactions
• Diagnostics and performance data
• Device identifiers, including the Advertising ID and App Set ID

This data is encrypted in transit (TLS); its collection is required for the service and cannot be disabled inside the app. See the Google Privacy Policy and AdMob policies. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID in Android settings: Settings → Privacy → Ads.

In-app purchases

Colourway and Malhamah-pack purchases are processed entirely by Google Play. The app never receives payment details and only stores your entitlements locally to display them.

Children

The app is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children; it does not knowingly collect data from them.
